EVE Mission Tips
What
does agent "quality" mean?
Agent Quality basically reflects the quality overall for rewards from that
agent during mission and gift offers.
Remember, that to obtain better ISK/Item rewards, you need higher "Level"
agents. The fastest way to higher level agents, is to use good "quality"
agents and run your STORYLINE agents missions when offered as these give a significant
boost to faction standing.
The sneaky part is that poor quality, level 2 agents give better rewards, then
any Level 1 good quality agent, when considering getting to a Level 3 agent of
any quality.This means a Level 2 -19 Quality Agent is better then a Level 1 +19
agent any day of the week or year.
What is the difference in "types" of agents?
Type of agents basically sets the type of missions you will be doing the most
of per say. For example certain types of agents give more combat missions, while
others give mostly mining missions. The agent type should give you a good indication
of the types of missions you should expect to be asked to do. They all give a
variety of all types of missions. Some Give 95% combat and 5% courier. While others
give the opposite.
What agents give the best item rewards?
Item rewards from agents is fairly random but also layered to give better rewards
based on agent LEVEL. For the most part if you want better rewards from agents
work to a high level agent. Once again, The fastest way to higher "level"
agents, is to use good "quality" agents and run Storyline missions.
Make sure you run your storyline missions and get your SOCIAL skills. Skills such
as connections help raise faction standing faster and sooner to get to higher
level agents quicker. If you intend on running missions the social skills are
a must. To sum it up, higher level agents give the phat loot. To get higher level
agents you must raise your standing to a faction. To do so, do your storyline
missions and regular missions with good quality agents and for sure get
your social skills up.
What agents give out implants?
If anyone new that we would all be doing it but generally I find these days, storyline
agents and mission "offers" give them out. For example: This past few
weeks my level 3 agent, with 21,000 Loyalty Points, offered me 1 +3 memory implant
for 18k of those Loyalty Points. He also offered me 2 +2 intell implants for 15k
loyalty points. In the same week, my storyline agent just gave me a + 3 intell
implant as a mission reward also. Remember. these were all level 3 missions and
storylines.
Why can I not find the place my agent told me to
go when I search for it?
Because the agents don't always tell you the "system". They might be
telling you a moon or station. To find where the agent has sent you search not
just for system in people and places but also moons and stations and the likes.
This is not to common of and issue but it still happens. You just have to think
a little out of the box is all.
